Kanchipuram Saree

A traditional kanchipuram saree in crimson red, with stylised leaf peacock motifs in gold zari all over the body and a green getti border and a green contrast blouse.

The border is three tiered, with a central bawanchi band, flanked by chakram motif bands on both sides with stripes of traditional motifs and a green selvedge.

The grand green pallu has elaborate zari work with a central column of peacock motifs flanked by chakram motif columns. Comes with red and green brocade blouse with zari work on the border. Rahjam designer silks is known for its handloom sarees, in few of the sarees, there would be cross weaving between the body and the pallu; which is quite natural and is a sign of pure handloom sarees.
